Dear IMIA Members and friends,
This notice is to inform you that the MedInfo 2017 LOC has had to move the location for MedInfo 2017 to the city of Hangzhou in China. MedInfo 2017 will be held at the Hangzhou International Expo Centre and the dates remain unchanged from August 21 – 25, 2017. Please refer to the MedInfo 2017 website for the most current information – http://medinfo2017.medmeeting.org/en .
Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang Province and one of the seven ancient capitals of China. The city is easily accessible for all international travellers with an international airport and high speed bullet trains from Shanghai airport to Hangzhou. The Hangzhou Expo Centre is a state of the art facility that was built for the 2016 G20 Summit that took place last year. Marco Polo, the Italian explorer, was known to have described Hangzhou as the finest and most luxurious city in the world.
If you have any questions concerning this change, please contact the MedInfo 2017 LOC Vice Chairs directly – Dr. Emmett Huang (hyuehyue@126.com) and Dr. Polun Chang (polunchang@126.com).
