About 4th Middle East Conference on Healthcare Informatics

The forthcoming conference is planned to hold based on regional priorities on health informatics discipline from policy to practice. In refer to our past successes and failures, we have tried to enhance the quality of the MEAHI Health Informatics Conference Brand in the region.  The theme of the 4th MEAHI conference is “Applied Health Informatics: A Regional Trend or Priority “. During a pre-conference day, and a 2-day conference, delegates will hear from distinguished speakers from the region and around the world with the opportunity to discuss specific issues in breakout sessions.

The fourth MEAHI conference will take place on 22-24 April 2013, Hotel Crowne Plaza Deira, Dubai, UAE, in collaboration with reputed national, regional, and international authorities , organizations , and institutes such as IMIA, UAEU-UAE, IrMIA-Iran, BMH-Malaysia, HSC-Kuwait, AUB-Lebanon, Khalifa University-UAE, HDF-Lebanon and SAHI-KSA.The official language of the conference is English.

The 4th conference structure would be as the following:

A 3-day conference which starts with a pre-conference day , and follows with a 2-day conference ;

  • The pre-conference day​​​​​ will focus on basic & advanced learning needs of regional healthcare & heath informatics professionals to be presented and discussed through Hands-on Workshops, and Tutorial Lectures concerning the conference theme and topics. A welcome reception could be arranged in the evening of the Pre-Conference day ;
  • The 2-day conference​​​ will have morning and afternoon sessions in different tracks and topics in form of Keynote Address , Plenary Lectures , Panels , Oral Presentations , Poster Presentations , and Innovative Software Applications’ Demonstrations ( through the conference exhibition ) including( but not limited to ) :

1- From E-Health Policy to Practice :
